Girlfriend Lace Socks #J701
My favorite small lace and eyelet cables are combined in this design that celebrates friendship. The lace alternates with purl stitches in flattering ribs that run from the scalloped border to the toe, creating a stretchy sock that fits a variety of legs. Although the patterning looks complex, it repeats over four rounds, so it is easy to memorize and fun to work. And these socks look great in a variety of fingering weight yarns.
For a more tailored look, substitute the ribbed border for the scallops. Regardless of the top you choose, these lace socks are the ones you will turn to again and againjust like a great girlfriend.
Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
