Heart Ribbon Lace Socks #J802
Beneath a scalloped border of flowers, ribbons of hearts run the length of these lace socks. Purl stitches between the ribbons create a close fit.
The socks were designed in two sizes to show off the beauty of hand-dyed fingering weight yarns.
Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
Skills Required: Knitting in the round and grafting stitches.
Sizes: Size 1 fits legs 6 to 8" (15 to 20cm) around
Size 2 fits legs 7 to 10" (18 to 25.5cm) around
Yarn: 100g (400 yds/366m) fingering weight sock yarn (16–17 wpi)
Sample Socks: 400 yds/366m Hazel Knits Artisan Sock fingering weight yarn (16 wpi), Color 203 Tulip, 90% merino/10% nylon, in Size 1
Supplies: US size 1 (2.5mm) circular or double-pointed needles, or size to obtain gauge; and tapestry needle to graft stitches
Gauge: 34 stitches = 4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch
